The Day After Christmas...
Yep was my bday yesterday... i'm 19! haha.. do i feel any different? older? um... nope.. haha.. i mean it's only 24 hrs since i was 18... how much older can i feel? haha....
Well for a person who has never owned a scarf in her life... i got 2 this christmas.. one from Swi and Laysh (THANKS!! love u two!!) and one from my auntie... And got the usual pressies like jewelry, shoes (no not shumei), clothes etc ..
ok. i tink it's quite funny when pple find out i'm born on Christmas... first they'll go ... "Wow! Really? So good/cool/lucky/etc!" And then.. after pausing for a few seconds... " Actually... no good leh u lose out.. only get one present.. how many presents do you get ar?"
Ok so let me now say it once more so that pple will not forget and ask me again.. i usually get seperate bday and xmas gifts from frens and family. Yes.. um that applies to nice thoughtful frens.. haha...
hmm.. got quite a bit of jackets and warm clothing.. for melb of course... time is really starting to pick up speed... in slightly more then a month i'll be flying off to a place where a plate of chicken rice costs Au$8. that's like S$10... Must start packing and stuff...
OH. and to the year 1 NUS science students... results coming out in less then 12 hrs! CALM DOWN... haha..

回家冲凉的感觉真好...
Went for nite cycling yesterday.. have never gone for nite cycling b4.. so this was a whole new experince...
Well was actually feeling quite irritated on the mrt while i was going to meet up with the cyclers at east coast Macs... but felt much better after i saw everyone just chilling out there..
there were 2 grps and i was in the first grp with the rest of the sgmc pple minus matt and terrence cos they were the leader and last man for the 2nd grp.. well for my grp Kat was the leader.. and dex was the last man.. though throughout the trip the last man kept on changing.. hahaha... it was fun la.. though we did get honked by a few cars.. oh and matt was the only one who fell until '4 legs point sky'...heh... dunno y we cycle so fast.. until we were early and had soo much time.. so kat took us on a tourist trip.. hee.. went to parliment house, clark quay, merlion, esplanade etc etc to take photos like a bunch of tourists.. oh and below the bridge at fullerton there were pple filming a movie.. just saw on the news just now .. the movie is gonna be called something like "one last dance" or sumthing liddat.. haha but we got shooed away by the pple filming.. haha the security guards at the esplanade also sort of shooed us away.. stopped at lao pa sat for supper.. and dex got pissed off at the guy selling bbq stuff.. haha..
on our way back.. we erm "detoured" er... unintentionally... haha.. yeah we went one big round... but managed to find our way back just fine.. hee.. at least we're better then the 2nd grp who missed fort rd.. hee.. hmm.. we reached ard 5 plus i tink... well by the end of the ride... we were all tired sleepy and aching.. haha.. weixuan's butt was splitting in 2.. xiaoyuan's butt was splitting in 4.. and mine? well it was just hurting like hell.. haha.. then we hung ard until 9 to return the bikes.. haha then matt was gonna return the pickup so we hitched a ride.. me, terrence, weixuan, liling and kat at the back.. xiaoyuan and matt in front.. whenever the pickup went over humps it's like whoa.. haha... oh at one pt matt couldnt seem to put the pickup into reverse gear.. hee...
well all in all had a great time.. cos of the company of course... :) .. u know last time i say my dad's been complaining? now my mum is starting... she's complaining that i'm not helping her.. she's angry that i have so many activites next few wks.. say she'll have to do alot of work by herself now.. accounts and stuff.. these few wks i go help her at the centre she nv give me the accounts to do lor.. ask her she say yaya must do accounts.. then at the centre nv giveme stuff to do so i go help the teachers wif the kids lor.. haiz.. oh well christmas is coming.. but dammit i tink i'm getting a sore throat.. issit the beehoon goreng? haha..

I CAN"T REMEMBER
hmm.. i tink i have amnesia.. cant seem to remember wat i've been doing since my last post.. OH ok.. it's starting to come back now.. hmm...
ok... i remember... sentosa outing.. but that's like last sat? not many pple went.. played volleyball.. and HOPSCOTCH.. ok if u want to know the details of wat happened u could try reading pam's blog instead.. haha.. ok to summerise.. it rained. HEAVY rain. but it stopped after a while la.. oh and reuben's chinese is like a million times worse then mine... ok so far i've found 2 pple with chinese worse then mine.. reuben and swilin.. i seriously tink that the pple mark my chinese script wrongly lor.. my command of chinese is really cmi leh.. if pple use abit more chim words i really dunno lor.. hmm.. after sentosa went for class dinner.. at holland v.. ate thai express.. and met my primary school fren there... long time nv seen her liao...
hmm.. that cant be all.. wat else??? ok i also remember a humourously speaking seminar... nothing much to say abt that..
ok it must be the lack of sleep cos now i really dunno wat else i've been doing this past week... .. well my father has been complaining i've been going out too much.. got meh? perhaps it's because they're use to carol the slacker.. i dun go out much during the hols last time.. but now cos it's my last few months in s'pore i've been going out more often..

Sleepy Me
I NEED SLEEP. It's the hols.. but why in the world am i NOT getting my beauty slp? i have no idea.. but seems like these few days i have like stuff in the morning.. haveta wake up early.. but yet i am still sleeping late. real late. cant help it.. i cant get myself to sleep early... :S
anyway.. played badminton on monday.. havent played in a loong time.. but as long as i can hit the damn shuttlecock enough liao.. haha.. Oh.. also went to see my potential housemate.. this girl who's gonna do med in melb u... think we'll end up sharing a student apartment.. for the first sem/yr at least.. then if i can find a cheaper alternative or sumthing then decide whether to shift or wat... hmm.. need to get to know her better in these few months...
ok. i need to wake up early tml... 8.30am... but i doubt i'll be sleeping anytime soon.. haha...

One week into the hols...
so... what have i been doing? let's recapp the wk ...
Sunday - first day of hols.. i was.. slacking at home
Monday - Spent whole day helping mum at childcare... the kids are so cute! esp the playgrp kiddies.. literally watch them grow up.. from little toddling toddlers who cant talk to big toddling toddlers who CAN talk.. haha.. esp love this little boy called Marcus... (i know what u're thinking swi.. but it's not marcus chan).. so cute! v smart boy...heh when his maid or grandfather come to fetch.. he'll go "我不要回家... 我要跟她(as in me la)." hee...u know wat the best part is? it's when those little babies start saying things like "i want u" and "i love TEACHER carol"... ok i better stop babbling bout babies.. oh my.. alliteration...
Tuesday- same as above
Wednesday - Went out with some of the sgmc pple... went to eat swensons.. then we strolled along to catch a movie.. yes.. STROLLED.. even though we were like late liao.. haha.. watched Bridget Jones... v nice! dunno y the reviews say that it's a flop.. i thought it was great... funny funny.. hmm.. the guys were all so excited during the lesbian scene.. esp some certain scholar and the person sitting next to him.. haha.. then.. went to TCC to drink coffee... no wait actually we stood in a circle and stoned for like 20 mins b4 we decided to go TCC... haha.. then it was homeward bound...
Thursday - HIGHLIGHT of the wk! the sgmc pple came to my house.. at first thought just a few pple will turn up.. din expect like 16 pple to turn up... guess it's due to matt's warning letter that no MCs will be allowed.. haha... hmm.. watched movie.. Final Destination 2... i tink me and benny were spoilers.. telling everyone when to expect the gory bits.. heh was funny to see guys hugging pillows and cringing at the movie... but the movie IS DAMN SICK la.. then go buy back food from chomp chomp.. then some of the guys play ps2.. oh yar watched matt's bday vcd.. so funny.. can see pple doing funny stuff that they cant remember doing cos they were drunk.. well i tink the best part was just chilling out with everyone la.. had a great time! but DAMN TIRING.. haha... OH. almost forgot. SOMEONE spent 2.5 hrs on the mrt.. why? cos he went to SEMBAWANG when i told him to go to SERANGOON.. right tim? haha...
Friday - went for med checkup for application of aust student visa in the morn.. then it's back to the childcare..
ok write enuff liao.. too much in fact.. :P
