Friday the Thirteenth
Heh abit early for halloween, but since it's Friday the 13th (and halloweeen is right smack in the middle of study week b4 exams)... me n my friends had a dress-up party! it was pretty cool... cos like practically everyone took the trouble to dress-up....
And what did i dress as? a slutty prostitute. I'm not kidding. HAHAHHAHA. well everything i wore was borrowed from my friend (of course i dont have anything remotely slutty-like)... ok no pix this time cos i need to get them from my friends, but i promise to put some up soon. well just to give u a taste, i wore this black strapless skimpy back-revealing top... a black tutu skirt, a pair of black stockings, a pink feather boa, and a feathered fan. yes i know it's shocking. HAHAHA bet no one has ever seen me look like that.
All in all, we had: a devil, an angel, a witch, 2 innocent school girls, a punk school girl, a housewife, an arabian princess, A GUY WEARING A BIKINI TOP, a pimp, and of course me the slutty prostitute.
it was a blast and half way thru we decided we needed milk for our baileys... so we all went fully dressed to 7-ll. and since i was the sexy traffic-stopping gal i was assigned the job to try and get us a free bottle of milk. And ok so i was laughing half the time i fanned and smiled at the cashier while passing him the milk.. but everyone else in the store was amused except him. the guy didnt even smile! in fact he looked scared. haha maybe i terrify him. well i guess that's also because the guy was asian. the whites seem to be more light-hearted abt these stuff. in the end i still paid for the milk. HAHA.
bloody hell the whole time i'm the one being asked to do stupid stuff. ok stupid thing number 2. my friend dared me to go into the adult shop n ask if they're hiring. after everyone agreed to enter the shop with me i entered and asked the bemused cashier "are u hiring anyone tonight" .. and of course(thank goodness) he said no, sorry. ok so now my fren owes me a drink for that.

last stupid thing. last traffic light back to the apt... i strutted across the road and did that stupid sultry eye-batting sexy-smirking fan-fanning thing at one of the cars that stopped at the traffic light.

seriously i think only bikini man will understand what's happening. i think he's very lucky that he left for another appointment b4 we left for 7-11... if not he will be questioned abt his manhood everyday if pple see him on the streets in a bikini top. Random Ramblings II
I'm feeling happy not because things are going good but because things are not going bad. Nothing special has happened but nothing that makes me wanna scream out loud has happened either. am i being cryptic? hell yeah. i'm just saying that the days pass normally without drama and that makes me happy.. i dont need things to be going my way to make me happy. even if they dont go my way, as long as they dont go against me i'm fine. wat the hell am i talking abt? i dont even know.
oh man this is the most random rambling i've ever done. but it sums up wat i'm feeling now. i'm randomly happy n i dont even know why.

Random Ramblings
Ok so school's been on for a week now and i think i'm still in holiday mode. Just came back from cutting up dogs again.. and i can just imagine swi's horrified face
Neko has grown huge since i last saw him... he's so heavy n fat now... n he's only like 6-7 months old.. maumau is still petite n fiesty(when cutting claws)...
i've got so many projects n assignments to do this sem... and the one i'm especially dreading is the damn individual 4000 word essay on animal management.. not to mention the anatomy project, VPH assignment, physio assignment, integrated learning wk case study... ack school just start n already bombarded by deadlines...
hrm to get or not to get (a car that is)... it would be really convinient plus if i do get i'll be sharing with Jo... so the cost will be much lesser... but. my mum just bought a new car so i dont really want to spend more of my mum's money... well if i get a job it'll be ok but i dont feel like working while studying... i'm such a lazy bugger that will surely not work out. hm. so . to get or not to get.
oh and i tasted the most disgusting alcoholic drink ever in my life recently.. it was at this jap bar called robot sushi n the drink was called bloody robot. among some of the ingredients in the drink are- wasabi, japanese mayo, worchester sauce, egg yolk(optional). ok at least my fren din add the egg yolk. but it tasted sooooo disgusting.. u know like when u go out n eat swensons or some other restaurant with frens and in the end u pour like chilli sauce, tar tar sauce (basically all the left over stuff) into a glass of water n dare pple to drink it? yes it tastes like that. and it costs A$14 to torture yrself. in the end we played some drinking game to finish that drink. haha.

Back Home Again
Whoa 3 weeks of internet deprivation is no joke. haha yea been spending the last 3 weeks at a farm in perth... it's a really ulu place so me n my friends were pretty 'people-deprived' as well...
But i did have a great time.. it's more like a big holiday than work attachment.. the farmer was really nice n we had alot of free time.. we seemed to be going sight seeing more than doing any farm work... we went whale watching in albany, bushwalking/mountain climbing in the porongorups, visit lotsa wineries, cycling in perth, shopping in perth, visit freemantle market, go horse riding etc etc.. haha
well but i did do stuff at the farm like cow drenching n sheep needling.. it's a pretty big farm with 1500 cows n 13000 sheep.. the sheepdogs are so adorable n active :) i have a large or-cheh on my leg where a sheep rammed into me though.. haha. and my fren got kicked by a cow.. luckily just hit the side of the thigh n not at full strength...
pretty cold at the farm at night.. after the 1st wk we all abandoned our beds to sleep in the living room where the fireplace and heater was.. oh yea and it was a real wood fire n we had to chop our own wood so that was quite cool. the stars are reaaalllly pretty at night plus if u're lucky u can see shooting stars too.. and we have fun going spotlighting at night.. walk ard the farm with a spotlight trying to see animals.. the farmer brought us in his 4WD one day at night to go spotlighting with him in the further regions of the farm n we saw like kangaroos n foxes n rabbits n stuff so that was cool. plus he did wheelies n skidded ard in his car in the swampy areas :P
oh and my fren crashed the van we rented into a fence in the farm. it was raining really heavily and the car skidded a bit over a muddy puddle n she over-compensated n we spun a full round b4 crashing into the fence. luckily it was just a wire fence n we missed the wooden posts n trees just a few metres down the road. i'm definately not letting my parents know or they would just freak out. haha.
well back home now with my doggies so that's really great. saphi was really sick a couple of weeks ago n was super thin and vomitting n stuff again.. and had to be put on drip again.. my poor doggie.. good thing she's much better now :) hmm well hope my 2 wks in s'pore dont fly by too fast!

Exams coming :( :( :(
well. next wk is the last wk of term for me... exams are coming real soon... 6 papers altogether.. plus i haveta hand in 1 project n 1 assignment next wk.. haiz.
well... at least that means holidays are coming!!! heh. well sort of anyway since i'm going to do some farm work in perth.. but the farmer guy offered to take us sight seeing too! yay! (although wat there is to see in perth i have no idea...) and apparently the farm is near some great beaches.. but who the hell goes to the beach in the middle of winter? haha
well.. k so far this course has been really interesting... so much better than last year... although of course our work load is muuuuch more... been handling horses, cows, sheep, dogs, birds so far... plus we had lectures on fish med too! yep aquaculture is a big thing so fish vets are in hot demand now... oh and note to self: cockatiels are evil birds. hahahhaha. they bite like mad when u try to handle them... ok wat am i saying all parrot type birds bite.. including the budgies... finches/canaries are pretty easy to handle except that they're so fragile that it's super easy to kill them.. as long as u have a finger over their chest (u dont even need to press down) they die cause the only way they can move their lungs is if thei chest moves too. abit of side info... interesting huh. ok and the best birds of all to handle are pigeons. they dont peck plus they sit quietly in yr hand.. :)
ok for a change next wk i'll be handling live greyhounds (instead of the dead ones on the disecting table)... but right now i cant look at a greyhound w/o thinking of its friends on our tables :P
hmm wat else.. well the kittycats are growing fast.. getting heavier n bigger.. those cats always wake up at the wrong time. they sleep most of the day.. and at 3 am they are so active and running all over me and pouncing on my hand/feet etc and keeping me from sleeping.. gotta try and make them play at like 10pm instead or 3am.. oh and neko has this habit of jumping into my laundry bag (u know the ikea one) and then maumau will try and pounce/scratch/bite him from the outside. result? very noisy n irritating clawing sound when their claws make contact with the nylon + holes n tears in the bag. haha i'm always picking him out of the bag... so in effect i let the cat out of the bag. oh man that is so lame. i'm gonna whack myself now. WHACK.

Kittycats
hmm yes so here's the link to some pics of my adorable kittens! well they're not adorable all the time.. maumau killed my computer mouse.. as in she bit the wire in 2. yes. sad. and neko scratched my face. yes. sad. but hey! they're kittycats! watcha expect? heh yea they're still cute n cuddly in my book no matter how many times they're claws come out when playing.
they find really weird spots to sleep in. there's this plastic container thingy on the shelve under my table.. and they love to sleep in it. the thing is there's nothing soft or cuddly inside so i have no idea why they like to do that. plus they are forever sitting on the keyboard.. and so i end up with error msgs/weird stuff popping up/etcetc...
hrm my exams will end in june 16.. going off to perth after that.. then coming back to s;pore for a while... my driving test is on june 14 morning and i have an exam paper in the afternoon.. argh! ah well shld be ok la.
life life life.. let's see. what else has been going on... oh i went ktv a few days ago... $35 per head for whole night plus u can order drinks/snacks up to $35 worth so it's pretty good actually. we like camped there til 4am.
k time to go off and watch movie now. :)
