Long Awaited Post?

Ok. i've been scolded by swi umpteenth times for not updating my blog. seriously i had no idea anyone looks at it anymore... :P

ok anyway so yes. i've changed it yet again. it's still work in progress mind you.. although i think i'll take abt... forever plus minus ten years to finish it. but i cannot wait any longer if not i'll get scolded even more.

so. How's life? well yes i'm in the middle of my summer break while u guys are all er enjoying your lectures n tuts n pracs etc etc... i'll be flying back on 20th feb... just in time for the orientation.. usually 2nd year students dont have orientation.. but because i'm considered to be 1st year vet... so there's a special vet orientation...

the itenary looks not bad... go police dog training academy n zoos n stuff... and of course the usual talks etc etc.. but it's A$90! oh and my time table is only going to be out during the orientation week, but i sneaked a peak at last year's timetable and it's damn packed la. so it's like almost everyday 9-5 packed only one lunch break inbetween... at least lessons dont end til 8 like in nus :P... but the worst part is there is lab EVERY single day for the WHOLE semester. it takes up half of the whole timetable...

i havent been going out much as u can imagine.. but i did go to crash swi's lecture.. foreign policy and something i cant remember the name.. haha... while in nus i spotted a very er.. unique picture of swi pasted around the WHOLE of arts... heh.

still trying to settle my accomodation stuff.. hopefully it'll be done by next week so i dont have to think abt it anymore....

ok enough talk i'll write again when something more interesting happens to me (eg. strike lottery) :)

spring back into winter

the weather's cold again. idiotic. cant seem to make up it's mind. last wk was nice spring weather. now it's cold n wet again. ah well...

yes yes i havent been updating this blog. i'm a lazy pig, what can i say?

well nothing much happening over here now... lecs n tuts n pracs as usual... so what have i been up to last month? hmmm.. oh yes the weekend trip. you wont believe how much cows shit until u see them.... haha well the weather was horrific.. it was super cold n wet n windy n we had to continue our prac in the freezing rain.. u could see that everyone was like not listening anymore but just jumping ard trying to keep warm.. then the silly cow guy still can ask us if we want to walk around the paddocks to look at the bulls.. pls we're all dying already.. we were so glad when we got to certain activities that were under shelter...

the horses were real nice.. but the best animals of all were the alpacas.. they look like lamas excpet that they're much smaller.. really nice fleece too... we got to play n handle a few of the young ones.. n u wont believe it but alpacas hum. yes, they look as if they make donkey noises but no. they hum..like hmmmmm? hmmmmm? soooo bloody cute la their humming. then when they're scared they whine like a little puppy. but dont piss them off or scare them too much cos they'll spit.. haha!

well for the trip they let us go back earlier even though we havent covered everything cos the weather was really too bad... oh one of the days.. for dinner we went to this pub place n my friend ordered this lamb brain thingie. it's like lamb brain wrapped in bacon n bread crumbs n deep fried... i tasted one and it was.. erm... well it tasted ok but the texture... very jelly like.. n if u look closely u can really see the contusions n stuff on the brain...

well yeah i went back during the midsem break... two weeks break not bad... crashed laysh's forensic science lec n got to see lotsa gory pics... urgh.. well din do much stuff back home.. just relax n enjoy the break..

exams next month... mine starts on 8nov.. havent started studying yet.. and i dun think anyone's surprised.. cos i'm a lazy bum .. haha! ah well better start studying soon la...

ok i dunno wat else to talk abt le.. when i remember stuff then i shall say ba.

WINDY LIKE HELL

ok i'm a nice person so since laysh asks me not to make the font bold i shall not. haha!

Ok so winter's ending/ended? and the sun is out again... the temperature is not that diff from winter but cos the sun is blazing, u dont feel cold. so pple are wearing shirts n shorts again. BUT. the start of this week the wind was soooo damn strong. seriously. it's like threatening to blow u away... anyone with umbrellas are looking for death in this weather... i'm by no means small and i can feel the strength of the wind... i can just abt imagine skinny pple like laysh being blown away like a dandelion in the wind(She claims she's getting fat but laysh putting on weight is like adding cotton to a scale)...

Argh lotsa tests and assignments these past few wks and the weeks to follow... cant wait for working with animals weekend field trip though.. should be fun! i'm so glad i took this sub... although got assignments to do there's very little contact hrs and super fun pracs :)

i finally went to book the learning permit test for driving... it's like the basic test back home.. test so that u can start learning how to drive... it's on tml! U know down here u get the results IMMEDIATELY and u get the learning permit driving licence IMMEDIATELY. then as i mentioned b4 after u get the licence u can drive as long as u have a supervising driver beside u.. dont need to be instructor,.. just someone with a proper licence... they expect u to like take a few lessons with a proper instructor then the rest of the time practice with a supervising driver...

finally... i'm coming back to s'pore for my midsem break!! it's the last 2 weeks of sept! yay! 2 weeks of no lectures n tuts n pracs! hooray! 3 cheers to qantas too.. they always have promotions at the time i want... cos i only fly back so frequently if got promotions :) doggies here i come!

I Hate Thinking Up Titles

my hand really itched to delete that previous post ... but i managed to stop myself. i mean like it's about time i came out of my shell and be a bit more truthful abt how i feel right? it's a good start for an otherwise emotionless freak who always only shows the most superficial feelings of what i think. shit i'm not making any sense to myself. but dont worry i'm stable( of course i am! isnt that the reason why pple use my shoulders? :D)

anyway yeah i watched The Wedding Crashes yesterday... and oh man that show is damn freakin funny!!! it's like the whole cinema groans and says 'ooohhhh shittt' at the same time.. and laugh their heads off... it's those kind of shows where you cringe cos it's abit sick but so damn funny at the same time. the critics din really give it a good rating but then they always do that for tasteless(yet suberbly funny) comedies anyway dont they.. and really boring artsy fartsy stuff get 5 stars.. hmm...

i dont thing s'pore's showing this tv series called 'House'... but it's really really good... it's a medical drama flick but with a really crass doc who is refreshingly direct and sarcastic with his patients. but he's a really good doc who cares abt his patients.. the irony... other good tv seriels- csi(all 3 of them of course), without a trace, numb3rs(i'm not an idiot it's really spelt like that..i remember them showing it in s'pore last time.. maybe axn? but anyway this show is really really cool...).. oh and not to forget..the simpsons! every weekday. aussies are in love with the simpsons which suits me just fine cos i love them too :)

going off to a sheep farm and a piggery tml for prac... heh get to wrestle sheep... and why do i have a feeling the sheep will win....

they're gonna have a singaporean students society annual ball here.. jointly organised by melb uni, monash n rmit.. it's gonna be at melb. aquarium.. quite cool i tink to hold it there.. then there's the pre and afterparty too... the really idiotic thing is that they love to hold it in the middle of the week...

i MUST remember to go book my learner's permit driving test.....

shit i have alot of work to do... lots of tuts n assignments n readings to do...

The Unlike-me Post

Sometimes, i really get on my own nerves.

everything's going great for me here.. school term's started for a while now and work is starting to pile up... but i'm doing ok.. been going to movies again... and clubbing.. and just visited other suburbs like chadstone and went to visit the monash uni campus... last sat i even went snowboarding... that was really cool... went over to mount buller and took a beginner's course on snowboarding... i was lucky cos it snowed really heavily 2 days before i arrived... temperature was -6 to 1 C but it was great... had lotsa fun trying to snowboard.. and falling down... and just lying in the snow making snow angels... i think i'm quite ok at snowboarding....

but.

why am i NOT feeling as great as i should be? i have absolutely no idea. for some out of this world reason i'm not feeling so good. i could start moaning and groaning and complaining about wat a f*cking pain in the ass life is but it wont be true cos life's just fine. plus that aint my style right? and that's not the style of my idiotic blog either... i usually write about flippant and trivial stuff... stuff that makes for a good read when u're brain damaged... and that's beside the point cos hardly any one comes here anyway...

great now i'm becoming cynical at myself.

ah well just a note the pic to the left is done by me.. that guy playing the piano is my imaginary manga character.. his name is Jaden X and i'll most probably be putting more drawings of him... and no he's not an image of any particular guy although if u do meet someone that looks like him and has all of his characteristics u are welcome to introduce him to me.

Back in Melb...

well hols are over for me... back to lectures tml... good thing there's no tuts n pracs next week..:P

anyway... how was my holidays? of course... it's great to be home n sleep in your own bed.. wif my doggies! so cute! haha and YES they still remember me la... din go out much this whole month... just the occasional meeting... most of the time i was helping my mum design n paint stuff on the wall of her childcare... but when i DID get to meet up wif frens.. it was fun la.. esp teasing laysh and make her go "Carroolll!!!!!!".... hehe

hmm i think i've decided to take working wif animals after all.. i realised that it is actually Super Slack.... every wk got one 1hr lect... and the WHOLE SEM... only got TWO 3hr pracs, one wkend field trip.. and one computer prac... slack man!! of course need to hand in assignments la.. but wat other mod doesnt need to? so slack hor.. summore prac is go mini field trip... one of the prac is go melb zoo and see behind the scenes leh.. luckily i din change my elective yet if not i cannot access the site and see wat the timetable is really like...

well hopefully i'll wake up in time tml for my lectures.. even though i know first lecs are always crap lecs ....

haha better blog something before swi scolds me again...

hmm well lets see... went to pam's bday celebration last sat... got to gather and meet up so that was cool... haha unfortunately we spent most of the time in the chalet room watching TV... we have no life man! and then we decided to take a walk to stretch our legs... and ended up walking round the corner and sitting down again... hmm......

been looking thru subjects/mods so i can decide what elective to take next sem... haha oh btw that weird mod? it's a second year subject for the bachelor of arts major in Gender Studies. yeah that major has LOTSA weird naming mods... including one on witches....

was thinking of taking working wif animals last time.. but that sub quite heavy.. esp for an elective... also... it has a 3 hour prac and that sux cos all 3 of my core subjs have 3 hour pracs... i'll DIE if i have 4 3 hr pracs a week....

hmm was thinking of taking creative writing... but then that kind of mod quite risky... the lecturer not er... "creative" enough or dun like your "creativeness" then the projects sure die one... it's all subjective anyway ... i still dun understand how teachers grade like poems and stuff... u may think it's a work of art and they think it's crap.... the great thing bout this mod is that it only has 2.5 contact hours a week plus no final exam... hmmmmmmm....

argh dunno la... i'll have to look through again ba...
